Geetika Mukkamala, OTD, OTR/L (Pronouns: She/Her/Hers)
Geetika recently graduated from Tufts University with a Doctorate in Occupational Therapy in 2024. She has returned to Seattle, the place she proudly calls home, driven by her passion for helping children in her community thrive and achieve their greatest potential.
Before and during graduate school, Geetika gained valuable experience working in various settings, including community mental health programs and pediatric clinics. She has worked with children with autism, ADHD, ADD, developmental delays, and sensory processing disorders, along with clients with anxiety, depression, and PTSD. She strongly believes in the transformative power of play and creativity to engage children and foster the development of essential motor, cognitive, and social skills in a fun and supportive environment.She is dedicated to empowering both the child and their family, ensuring that everyone is equipped with the tools and confidence needed to support the child’s ongoing growth and success.
In her free time, Geetika enjoys engaging in creative and crafty projects that often inspire her therapeutic activities. She also loves playing pickleball, spending quality time with friends and family, playing board games, crocheting, and traveling.
